Strategy of Wing Chun

01

Usage Of The Centerline

Striking enemies within the centerline would force them to use the outside path to strike Wing Chun users. This gives the user an expected advantage using the Centerline Theory to strike while the enemy unexpectedly faces surprise.

02

Controlling The Blindside

One of the most effective strategies of Wing Chun Kung Fu. Controlling sides where the enemy cannot see would open Wing Chun users to different varieties of strikes and takedowns. The blindside of the enemy would even open Wing Chun users to more dangerous and lethal blows that would completely immobilize the enemy.

03

Attacking the Balance

Wing Chun’s strategies of efficiency includes using the simplest ways to affect the enemy’s balance. This involves the use of different stability attacks to render the enemy off-balance, giving Wing Chun users split-second chances to deliver devastating blows to bring the enemy down to the ground.

04

Cross-pin the enemy

The blindside offers Wing Chun users plenty of chances and variations of strikes and defenses that can be used to the user’s advantage. Using the blindside to cross and trap the enemy’s arms will render the enemy useless to initiate any attacks. In this strategy, using the blindside to deliver stability attacks could easily bring the enemy down to the ground.

05

Continuous Motion

One very important part of Wing Chun is its continuous flow of motion. This allows its users to shift their energy from various parts of their body as well as to shift their position from one side to the other side. The continuous motion strategy would ensure that the enemy is being pushed back with the Wing Chun user taking advantage using a balanced synergy of palm strikes, punches, elbow strikes, and kicks.
